Unplugged is a half-day retreat created to offer a rare and nurturing space where you can completely unplug from technology, daily demands, and constant stimulation. Held in the beautiful, cosy studio at The Alchemy Practice, this intimate experience welcomes a maximum of just seven participants, allowing the space to feel calm, personal and deeply supportive.

Guided by Bee, with over eight years of experience facilitating yoga classes, workshops, events and retreats, the afternoon is designed to help the body soften, the mind slow down, and the nervous system return to balance.

This 4-hour immersion is offered every quarter.

❋ ROOTS
Unplugged half day retreat rooted in traditional Hatha Yoga gently woven with elements of Osteopathic fascia work

The practice is rooted in traditional Hatha yoga, gently woven with elements of osteopathic fascia work, encouraging the body’s connective tissue to unwind and restore its natural rhythm. Through mindful movement, guided breathwork and deep rest, we create the conditions for the body to regulate itself from the inside out.

❋ RELAXATION

Throughout the retreat we lean into stillness, silence and deep relaxation, allowing space for the nervous system to settle. During this time Bee will also offer Reiki energy healing, both to the group and individually while participants rest.

❋ NATURE

We will also step outside the studio and wander into the surrounding woodland that The Alchemy Practice sits within.

Here we will take part in forest bathing and grounding practices, reconnecting with the earth and the trees. Spending time in natural environments has been shown to support wellbeing in many ways.

Research suggests that time spent among trees can lower cortisol levels, reduce blood pressure, calm the nervous system and improve mood and mental clarity. Direct contact with the earth may also help regulate the body’s electrical state through the transfer of natural electrons, supporting reduced inflammation and a greater sense of balance.

❋ NURTURE

During the retreat you will also be offered grounding herbal teas, alkaline water, and a tasty grazing platter of unrefined, earthy treats designed to nourish and gently support the body.

Alkaline mineral-rich water can help support hydration, assist the body’s natural detoxification processes and contribute to maintaining a healthy internal balance.
